A new venue for Chamber music in the heart of Tuscany!
VISION & MISSION
In our small hamlet of San Pancrazio, Bucine, Tuscany lies a beautiful old theatre and concert hall from the 1920s.
The theatre, built for the Società Filarmonica di San Pancrazio, the musical association founded in 1916, has not been in use for almost fifty years. Structurally still in good condition and with new roof since 2024 it is now owned by ”the Circolo”, the local leisure and recreational organisation.
Our newly created cultural non profit organisation has leased the theatre from the owners, and we are now in the midst of restoring it to make it usable for concerts and other cultural events.
We hope to be able to start a Chamber Music Festival with a series of concerts during summertime with internationally acclaimed
artists and musicians. The first concerts will be held in the summer of 2026.
The festival aims to spread the appreciation of music and art through concerts, exhibitions and cultural events.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
To make this happen we are in need of funds. The first step now is to make a proper evaluation for the costs needed to make the theatre safe and in working order for the first season, planned for summer 2026. The aim is to do all the necessary works during winter and spring and then present the first summer programme in 2026.
